Highly polished and waxed Venetian plaster in bold tones accent this space designed by Larry Mork and Associates.

Lime plaster lends rustic elegance throughout this home.
Design by Martha O’Hara Interiors.

In 1875, a local plasterer / mason built this house as both his home and a place to showcase his skill to potential clients. Lux repaired the lime plaster walls, moldings, and ornaments with materials sympathetic to the original materials.

Lux playfully integrated custom plaster ornament, integrally-colored plaster, and metallics in this theater entry. The theater was built for post-production of feature-length films.

Highly polished black lime plaster and travertine stone imitation combine for a dramatic effect.

Crisp edges between plaster and adjacent materials, such as this fireplace, are details which are often overlooked by other applicators. Lux always gives careful attention to these these areas.

The highly polished and waxed Venetian plaster on this ceiling pair with the glass tile walls, chandelier, and furniture to produce a translucent atmosphere, filled with diffuse refracted light.

The plaster for this ceiling was custom blended by Lux from French lime, natural earth pigments, and limestone. The surface of the plaster subtly compliments the hewn oak timbers, which were harvested from the building site.
